Hey guys, Dr. Jon here from Beyond Bones, I want to go over three things that you may be experiencing that would indicate that your neck is not functioning at its best, right?
Number one, we should be able to move our head around in space in very specific ways. Without any pain or discomfort, we should be able to look down and up as if we’re saying yes, we should be able to look left and right as if we’re saying no, we should be able to touch our ear to our shoulder. without there being any kind of pain. These are normal ranges of motion that our neck should have. If you’re feeling any kind of discomfort. When you do that, perhaps when you’re driving, looking around, when you’re backing out of the space, that’s a good indicator that your neck maybe, you know, there may be problems in your neck and there may be misalignments causing dysfunction in those joints.
Number two, if you wake up in the morning, and it really takes you hours to get ready feel stiffness, you just feel locked up in your in your neck, maybe in your upper shoulders, that’s another great sign that there may be dysfunction in your neck that we can help with.
Number three symptoms. So if you’re having headaches regularly, that’s a telltale sign that there may be areas of discomfort or areas of dysfunction in your neck. If you’re feeling radiating symptoms down your arm as another one. Oftentimes the root of that problem comes from your neck. So when you come in and that’s a part of our discovery. That’s part of our initial visit is to discover if, if that is the underlying cause of any of those things that you may be experiencing.
