Hey guys, Dr. Jon here from Beyond Bones, I want to give you three ways that you can help reduce or eliminate neck pain while you’re working during your normal workday.
Number one, we got to get off of the seat, we can get a standing desk, take breaks from sitting all day long, that’s going to help us a lot just not just with a neck pain, but with overall health, we can put our monitor higher, we can make sure that our monitor is eye level with where we’re looking, that’s going to help us stay out of a flex forward type of posture.
Number two, rather, we can take normal breaks every 1520 30 minutes, get up and move around, even if it’s just stand up, sit down, maybe do a little stretch, walk around your building that’s going to help tremendously.
Number three, incorporate some play. Okay, there are certain games that we can play that make us that force us to use our vision a lot differently than we’re accustomed to. We’re normally just focused straight ahead all day every day. But we can play frisbee we can play ping pong or pickleball or any of these games that require us to move around and look around to some space that’s going to get us moving our neck a lot more and with motion we’re going to feel and experience less pain.
And then here is the secret sauce behind how you can get rid of neck pain a lot quicker. While it work is you can finish work early and then go out and play!
