Why We Take X-rays on All Our Posture Patients
See, posture problems can often be signs of a more serious problem underneath either existing now, or future problems to come. That’s why we take x rays on nearly every person who comes into the practice with postural problems, see the X rays show us as clearly as possible, what’s gone wrong in your spine, and then what we need to do to get it better, if anything. What I mean by that is, if we see on your X ray, that everything looks just fine. And yet you’re still suffering from postural problems. Well, that just means that we’re not going to be the ones to help you. And in that case, we’ll have to refer you out to somebody who can. But if we do see together with your postural problems, if we see problems on the X ray problems with the alignment of your spine, well, that’s great news because it means that we’re going to be able to help. If your spine has misaligned that can put pressure on the nerves that causes lots of symptoms, including but not necessarily limited to pain throughout the body. And that’s almost always visible on X ray. That’s what chiropractors do with our chiropractic adjustments is correct misalignment in the spine that takes the pressure off of the nerves that lets you feel better heal up and keep it that way for the long term. It also has the added benefit of improving your posture as you do so!
